DESCRIPTION:Learn rhythms and songs from Cuba and Puerto Rico and the foundation of conga drumming and percussion techniques. Students will learn the Afro Cuban rhythm Bembe\, and two songs for the two Orisha deities\, Elegua and Ogun. Students will also learn Bomba Sica rhythm and song from Puerto Rico. This class is open to participants of all ages and backgrounds\, no previous experience needed.
